About this file
This document outlines the phasing plan for construction projects under Solicitation Number N4008519R9253 from the Department of the Navy Naval Facilities Engineering Command. The solicitation is for Package 3 of Hurricane Florence Recovery Training and Storage Facilities at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, and includes projects for the MCCSSS Log Ops School, II MEF Simulation/Training Center Replacement, and LOGCOM CSP Warehouse Replacement.
The phasing plan details the sequence for replacing the existing MCCSSS Motor Transport Training Building with a new Log Ops School facility. This will include relocating existing MAT trailers currently occupying the construction site, building the new school, moving users from the existing building into the new one, and then commencing renovation of the existing building for other tenants. Construction is scheduled to start by December 2020 and be complete by September 2023. The document provides guidance for coordination between the contractor and government entities during the construction and user relocation process.
