About this file
This is a Consent of Surety to Final Payment form issued by the Borough of Doylestown for Contract 2400754 involving Fanny Chapman Memorial Pool Main Pool Repairs. The document serves as the surety company's authorization for final payment release to the contractor upon completion of the project. The form requires the surety company to certify that all claims for labor and materials have been satisfactorily settled following examination of the contractor's books and records or receipt of an affidavit from the contractor. The document is executed by an authorized representative of the surety company and must include the company's corporate seal.
The consent form explicitly states that approval of final payment does not relieve the surety company of any obligations to the Borough of Doylestown as outlined in the surety bond. The document requires execution by the President or Vice President of the surety company, or if executed by another authorized person, must be accompanied by a current certificate of authority. This form represents a standard contractual requirement in public works projects to ensure financial accountability and proper settlement of all project-related obligations before contractor payment is finalized.
