COMMENTS FOR 322323-01R2(APPROVED AS NOTED):
1) Wall constructions on either side of a stair are to step uniformly with the adjacent stair.
COMMENTS FOR 323223-01R1 (APPROVED AS NOTED, RESUBMIT):
1) See A/E review comments on submittal, attached in 'Notes & Documents' tab under this submittal task item.
2) The wall drain tile detail shows daylighting thru the wall. The pipes should be connected to the structures noted on the drawings.
3) The block walls located on either side of the concrete stair(s) are to step uniformly with each other and with the adjacent concrete steps per detail F5 on sheet LS502. The revised profiles do not appear to meet these criteria. Revise the shop drawings accordingly.
4) See details E3 and F3 on sheet LS502 for wall finishing requirements when the back of wall blocks are exposed above grade. The design intent is to have split face finishes on both sides of the exposed blocks.
COMMENTS FOR 323223-01 (REVISE AND RESUBMIT):
1) Retaining Wall Shop Drawings show 1" setback for each 6" unit. The elevations on Drawing C-111 include a note for "retaining wall to have vertical face", while the proposed construction indicates a batter. The batter created by the 1" setback would be more than 14" based on the highest point of the wall.
2) Submit product that matches design intent for vertical retaining wall, or submit shop drawings correctly showing impact of batter on design in plan. If alternate product is submitted to match design intent, also resubmit sample per Paragraph 1.5.B.
