For every bldg. receiving new electrical panel, we need the information of the switchgear/switchboard/panel feeding it. Such as Amp frame size, make, model, etc.
This will need to be verified on site by the contractor.
7 7/27/2022 8/10/2022 Where is the lighting schedule to determine the types & make of the lights to be installed?
Refer to Campus Electrical drawing 0-
GE600.
8 7/27/2022 8/10/2022 What are the preferred electrical panel types or is it up to the Electrical contractors discretion?
Contractor needs to supply panels that meet the requirements of the panelboard specifications.
9 7/27/2022 8/10/2022
There are a few discrepancies in the type of Blade Ups plugs to be used. Some Panel schedules say 20A and others Say 30A plugs but all are feeding the same size 5KW Blade UPS. Which is it?
The plug size is based on the electric load for one, two or three rack layouts.

Bldg. Number- CAMPUS, Blueprint# T804, enlarged detail #2 “Above Ground Conduit Penetration” show the use of an LB condulet line box for the raceway of the (fiber/armored fiber?) if this project calls for armored fiber like I think it might. Using an LB will not allow sufficient room for the bending radius of the Armored Fiber Cable. It will cause damage and problems. Please consider using 24”X 24” NEMA 3R J-Box or larger instead. Making this determination off experience gained on similar Job we completed for the VAMC in Salisbury, NC.
Provide indoor/outdoor loose tube OS2 fiber. Armored fiber will not be utilized, as the path is in conduit.

Blueprint TN-500 On the one-line schedule there are a bunch of notes with wire sizes on them for a retrofit UPS/EG system. Are we to provide a quote on pulling all these feeders? If so I we need all electrical equipment shown on the one lines to be drawn on the bldg.
layout or at the very least provide a feeder schedule.
Sheet TN-500, Sheet Notes #4 through #9 are for information only, and identify existing feeders to remain. New work includes: Transformer TF-4C-B, Panel 4C- MSB-B, Switch 4C-EQ-DS-B, Switch 4C-ES-DS- B, ATS-4C-ES-B, ATS-4C-EQ-B, Panel 4C- EQDP-B, Panel 4C-ESDP-B, UPS-B, and asssociated feeders as scheduled for this new equipment. Source feeder to Transformer TF-4C-B shall be 3-#1/0 in 4" conduit. New equipment layout is shown on Sheet 4-TN403. Serve AC-053 with 3#10,#10G from 30/3 in Panel 4C-ESDP-B, and CU-053 with 3#12,#12G from 20/3 in Panel 4C-ESDP-B. The following source feeders are to be routed in concrete encased duct banks: Transformer TF-4C-B, Panel, 4C-MSB-B, Switch 4C-EQ-DS-B, Panle 4C-EQDP-B (these are in addition to concrete encased ducts shown on site plans).
13 7/27/2022 8/10/2022 Bldg. 6. Electrical & DATA Details are missing for panels and Racks respectively. No electrical at this time.
14 7/27/2022 8/10/2022 Blueprint 7-TN110 shows no wire tray outside of data room. Is it existing?
No existing cable tray. Existing cables are routed in J-Hooks.
15 7/27/2022 8/10/2022 Blueprint 7-E200 shows Bldg. 13 Not to receive data rack, data cable, no electrical panel upgrade, correct? Correct, no electrical work in building 13.
16 7/27/2022 8/10/2022 Blueprint 8-TN110 where does the 2 inch pipe go leaving the telecom room? What is its purpose?
Delete 2" conduit from B8 sheets as new fiber will not be pulled to B8.
17 7/27/2022 8/10/2022 Blueprint 8-TN110 all CAT 5 to remain? No new Wire Tray for this bldg.?
All 105 existing cables are now existing as Cat6 cables and are to remain as is. No new cable tray is needed for B8
18 7/27/2022 8/10/2022 Blueprint 9-TN100 detail 1 & 2. Shows 4in pipes but where do they need to go? Where is sheet T000 for additional detail?
4" conduits are shown to transition over inaccessible segments of existing ceiling conditions. Detail 1 conduits route from corridor to below Telecommunications Room above. Detail 2 conduits route from corridor to lobby across inaccessible stairway ceiling.
19 7/27/2022 8/10/2022 Why does the wire tray raceway have intermittent runs of 4 inch conduit randomly inserted into the run?

Blueprint 14-E400 Panel B14IT-1 is to be fed from bldg. 7 Switchgear 7- MDP-EQ roughly 450 feet away. I made this length determination by referencing the “Site Electrical Plan” in the “CAMPUS” set of prints on sheet “TS-001 detail one.” as well as the bldg. 14 & & prints. Please provide clear directive on how the race way needs to be run above, below, under, through and how far. Also, there will be a voltage drop calculation issue given the distance of the feed. Review, revise, & advise.
Contractor shall determine routing based on existing conditions. Intent is to route feeder underground to tunnel leading into building 7.
21 7/27/2022 8/10/2022 Bldg.. 29 where are the elect panels to run pwer to L21-20R, A/C, GFI, Lights Etc?
Need to verify exact location on site in basement and first floor.

Bldg.. 48. Sheet 48-E300 sheet detail 3 TR221 references Pnl EC2-1 which doesn’t exist or I cant find on drawings. Also, looks like this panel only feeds one L21-R20 plug. Which means you have to run a line from the basement to the 2nd floor for ONE plug.. Suggest use the panels on the first floor which do exist and are closer. Please advise.
Reference to panel EC2 should be panel
B48IT-1-CR.
24 7/27/2022 8/10/2022 Bldg. 48 sheet 48-E500 Power riser has Pnl B48IT-1 fed by B-MDP which is not shown on the drawings. Please advise. Should be labeled 48-MSB.
