The Agreement of Surety Company must be executed by an authorized representative of the surety corporation, which must be a company authorized to transact business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. If the document is signed by anyone other than the President or Vice President of the surety company, it must be accompanied by a current certificate demonstrating the signatory's authority to bind the surety company. This surety agreement form is a standard requirement in the contract procurement process, ensuring financial protection for the Owner should the selected bidder fail to fulfill bonding obligations.
