About this opportunity
This solicitation notice seeks proposals for multiple award construction contracts to provide design-build construction services in Italy. The Department of the Air Force United States Air Forces in Europe - Air Forces Africa intends to award indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contracts for one base year with four option years. This Pre-Solicitation Notice will be for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) for Design-Build (DB) Construction Services in Italy. The proposed contract will be a competitive firm-fixed-price contract procured in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR part 15 Contracting by Negotiation. It is contemplated that the Government will evaluate interested offerors using the Price-Past Performance trade-off process.
The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) is 236220.
The scope of work for the resultant contract will primarily be associated with the design, repair, alteration, renovation, maintenance, and/or minor construction projects on various real property facilities across multiple trades to be conducted primarily at Aviano Air Base, Italy. Work may include, but is not limited to: grading, water lines, sewer lines, painting, roofing, renovation of interiors of existing buildings, new building construction, electrical substation construction, structural construction, Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems and components, refrigeration systems, fire suppression systems, fuel pipeline and storage systems, power and services supplies, distribution and utilization systems (including lighting), power generators, public address systems, fire alarm systems, telephone systems, asbestos, lead based paint, and petroleum-contaminated material abatement and disposal, and exterior site and systems work such as utilities infrastructure, roadways, sidewalks, parking lots, landscaping, and irrigation. All work shall be in strict compliance with the specifications of the contract and specifications and drawings for each task order.
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: One year Base Contract with 4 option years
MACC MININUM/MAXIMUM: The minimum guaranteed amount for the life of each awarded contract is $2,500 (EURO equivalent) that is payable following attendance at a mandatory MACC Orientation Training.
The total aggregate maximum contract value for all awarded contracts combined is estimated at $96,000,000.
MINIMUM TASK ORDER: $2,500.00
MAXIMUM TASK ORDER: $7,000.000.00
The solicitation will be issued via Federal Business Opportunities at https://www.fbo.gov/. No paper copies of the solicitation, specifications, or plans will be issued from this office.
