******Title: Questions and Answers for W911S6-17-B-0001 DPG Road Maintenance IFB.
The following questions were received in reference to IFB solicitation W911S6-17-B-0001.
Question 1:
The break out of mobilization to achieve the most efficient price point to the government. How will the task orders be awarded in multiple/grouped task orders or one at a time....What formula would be the best to apply for mobilization?
Answer 1:
Task orders can be awarded one at a time or in multiple orders. Earlier in the fiscal year task orders are more likely awarded one at a time. The closer to fiscal year end, the more likely multiple task orders will be awarded. In FY 16 the task orders were awarded as a group. When multiple task orders are awarded, the period of performance is usually staggered to allow equipment to move from job to job. An amendment is forthcoming which shall change the solicitation Statement of
Work, adding section 1.4.2.8 Issuance of Task Orders Per Year.
Question 2:
Line item # 18 uses a unit of measure YM what is that unit of measurement I.E. yard per mile? Question is referencing Technical Exhibit A-E.
Answer 2:
Line Item # 18 YM is Cubic Yard Per Mile.
An amendment is forthcoming which shall clarify in the Technical Exhibits A Through E, by stating the meaning of all the abbreviated measurements.
