About this file
This is a Sample Work Schedule document prepared by Precision Sweeping Services for mechanical street sweeping services in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area under the State of Arizona Department of Transportation's procurement initiative. The schedule outlines comprehensive sweeping operations structured around two alternating routes designed to ensure consistent coverage across all curb miles within the service area. Route A covers weekly sweeping, large debris removal, stack ramps, and alternating on/off ramps on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday, while Route B provides the same services on Monday and Wednesday. The bi-weekly rotation of ramp services distributes curb mileage evenly throughout each week to maintain steady workflow and operational efficiency. An on-site Supervisor will manage route assignments nightly, verify operator compliance with designated paths, and implement necessary operational adjustments to ensure smooth execution and effective communication across all service components.
The work schedule emphasizes the importance of supervisory oversight in maintaining operational integrity throughout the contract period. The document indicates this schedule was developed as part of negotiation discussions and represents the bidder's proposed approach to managing mechanical street sweeping operations systematically. The schedule demonstrates the contractor's understanding of comprehensive service delivery requirements, including equipment management, personnel coordination, and consistent performance across the full scope of work for the Phoenix Metropolitan Area contract.

Sample Work Schedule
Precision Sweeping Services has built a sample work schedule to ensure that all sweeping tasks are carried out accurately and consistently. This sample provides an overview at how every curb mile in the full scope of work will be structured.
In order to manage operations effectively, the schedule is divided into two alternating routes:
• Route A - Covers weekly sweeping, large debris, stack ramps and alternating on/off ramps on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday
• Route B - Covers weekly sweeping, large debris, stack ramps and alternating on/off ramps on Monday, Wednesday
This alternating structure ensures proper coverage while maintaining a steady workflow. Both routes also separate the equipment into the key areas of service for those nights. Since ramps are on a bi-weekly rotation, it’s best to break them up so as to evenly spread out the curb miles each week.
The on-site Supervisor assigned to this contract will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of the schedule. They will be responsible for assigning routes each night, ensuring that all operators are following their designated paths and that adjustments are made when necessary. This level of oversight guarantees smooth operations and effective communication.
