Offsite Sweeping LLC maintains $1 million/$2 million minimum required insurance coverage and carries an additional $5 million umbrella policy to provide enhanced protection for both the contractor and the State of Arizona in the event of significant accidents. The company confirms it is comfortable with the pricing presented in its original proposal submission and expresses readiness to begin operations upon contract award.

Stacy, Please add the following items listed below to our proposal which will related to both Method of Approach, and Experience and Capacity.
Upon award, Offsite Sweeping LLC will conduct multiple safety and procedure meetings with our staff that has been currently servicing the routes for the expiring contract and also the support staff responsible for preparing and staging equipment each day. We will use these meetings as opportunities to reestablish higher standards for operations on the roadways and also staff working at our headquarters in Central Phoenix. Topics regarding PPE, traveling speeds, communication, quality of work, safety, and overall awareness will highlight these meetings with the operators. The mechanics and other support staff will be attending the meetings as well, and their contribution towards quality of work and safety will be their focus. We intend to have these meetings multiple times a week at first upon award, and at a minimum of monthly moving forward.
In our previous submission we noted that we were hiring an additional experienced sweeper mechanic, he has already been added to the staff. He has over 20 years of experience as a sweeper mechanic, and his focus will be on projects to get our existing sweepers that we intend to have available for this contract into better working condition to increase the performance and raise the bar of our quality of work. Together with our current sweeper mechanics and metal shop team, we expect great things moving forward with our equipment maintenance so that we have the best fleet of machines on the road servicing this contract upon award.
If not previously mentioned, please make note that Offsite Sweeping LLC carries $5,000,000 of umbrella insurance on top of the required $1M/$2M minimum coverage. We feel that having the additional coverage helps protect Offsite Sweeping LLC along with The State of Arizona (ADOT) in the event that there were to be an at fault accident of large proportion. Carrying the $5M umbrella policy comes at a large expense that is absorbed, however having the peace of mind is invaluable for a company servicing this contract, as there is a lot of exposure out there while servicing the miles within the metro Phoenix area along the freeway system.
We are comfortable with the pricing that was presented on the original date proposals were due.
Offsite Sweeping LLC looks forward to this opportunity!
Thanks, Craig Morris Offsite Sweeping LLC
