About this file

This document summarizes a federal contract opportunity for the production of hardware in support of the AN/SPQ-15(V) MK 6 MOD 1 Data Distribution System programs. The Naval Sea Systems Command is seeking firm-fixed-price production of data and distribution system hardware, including switchboards, decoders, converters, switches and upgrades. The contract will also include cost-plus-fixed-fee elements for software life-cycle support, engineering and development. The period of performance is five years, with an estimated award date of November 2022. Responses are due by April 5, 2022 or 30 days after the solicitation is posted on March 7, 2022. The requirement is set aside as a small business opportunity, with full and open competition following small business exclusion. Best value continuum procedures will be used to evaluate proposals.

2.4.5 Automated Test This section contains the procedures for running an automated test on the CRC Unit section of the unit.

1.

Configure the Converter-Receiver Control (CRC) (P/N 456010-2) and Test Equipment as shown in Figure 2.4.5-1.

2.

Turn ON the power to all equipment associated with the CRC Unit Testing.

3.

Connect the LRADDS Test Rack cables as shown in Figure 2.4.5-1.

Figure 2.4.5-1. CRC LRADDS Test Rack Configuration

Select the LRADDS Tester ICON on the initial windows screen and follow the displayed prompts.

5.

A dialog box “Interface Configuration” appears showing the expected Comm Port Assignments and GPIB Addresses.

Verify that the Communication Ports and GPIB Addresses are set as they appear in the display. Select OK when complete.

6. From the displayed Main Screen Menu, select the “Test Info” option.

7. A dialog box prompting for “Tester Identification” will now be displayed. Enter the test operator’s name and press enter.

8. A dialog box prompting for Serial Number will be displayed. Enter the Converter-Receiver Control (CRC) Serial Number and press Enter.

9. Select test type “Unit Level Testing” and then “Final”.

10. At the unit level selection screen, select “Converter-Receiver Control (CRC)”.

11. From the Main Menu Screen, select the “Load Test” option. A dialog box is shown with the names of tests that can be run.

12. Select all script files in Table 2.4.5-1.

13.

The Main Screen will be displayed showing the entered information. From this display, select the BEGIN TEST option. The program will now display dialog boxes to provide the operator with step-by-step instructions for completing the test. Upon completion of each test, annotate the appropriate entry in Table 2.4.5-1.
