About this file
This pre-solicitation synopsis concerns a forthcoming solicitation for production of hardware in support of the AN/SPQ-15(V) MK 6 MOD 1 Data Distribution System programs. The Navy seeks to award a C-type contract with firm-fixed-price CLINs for DDS hardware production, cost-plus-fixed-fee LOE CLINs for software life-cycle support and software engineering/development, and NSP CLINs for deliverables. The contract would have a five-year period of performance starting in November 2022. Responses to solicitation N0017822R2501 are due between March 7th and April 5th 2022, with award planned for November 2022. The requirement is set aside for small businesses and involves production of switchboards, decoders, converters, switches and upgrades for existing radar sensor data and distribution systems.

SBC CONFIGURATION
1. To determine your Baseboard type and configuration, check the sticker located near the VME P2 connector. It contains information on board type and revision, memory allocation, CPU speed, serial number, and Ethernet addresses.
For example:
Themis [TC2D64/1-XXXX-2160-V32] [PYYYY] (where XXXX is the amount of on-board memory and YYYY is the serial number of the module)
ETHERNET [00 80 B6 04 70 F6] [00 80 B6 04 70 F7]
which is interpreted as follows:
• Board Type (Model): TC2D64/1
• SDRAM: XXXX MBytes
• CPU Frequency: 2160 MHz
• Revision: 32
• Serial Number: PYYYY
• Ethernet Address(es): 00 80 B6 04 70 F6 and 00 80 B6 04 70 F7
2. Verify the baseboard configuration sticker lists the model number “TC2D64/1-XXXX-2160-V32” (where XXXX is a minium of 2048).
Verified:___________
3. Enter the Themis serial number for the SBC (P/N 456105-1 or 456570-1).
4. Enter the Themis MAC Addresses for the SBC (P/N 456105-1 or 456570-1).
5. Enter the FES Serial number for the SBC (P/N 456105-1 or 456570-1).
6. Ensure that the SBC factory jumper positions are in agreement with Table 2.1-1.
Jumper positions are shown in Figure 2.1-1.

INSTALLATION AND SETUP PROCEDURE
The Installation and Setup Procedure verifies the test configuration.
1. Ensure the IIU Test Chassis or CRC are powered OFF.
2. Install the SBC under test into the IIU Test Chassis per Figure 1.4-1 or a CRC with both SBC ethernet ports connected to the LRADDS Test Rack network switch.
3. Insert a copy of the SBC OE Installation disk into an eSATA or USB disk drive attached to the Single Board Computer.
a. For P/N 456105-1, use 456383 SBC OE Installation Disk.
b. For P/N 456570-1, use 456566 SSDS SBC OE Install Disk.
4. Apply power to the unit under test.
5. During the boot process, repeatedly press the delete key to enter the BIOS setup menu.
6. Navigate to the “Boot” tab.
7. Select “Boot Device Priority”.
8. Move the CD/DVD drive to the first entry and the HDD device to the second entry by repeatedly selecting the item and pressing the “+” key to move it up until the entry is in the proper location. Instructions to this effect are shown in the sidebar on the right of the screen.
9. Press F10 to save the settings and reboot.
