Subject: Suwannee River State Park – Water System Upgrades FDEP Agreement #CN225 Change Order #1 to Task Assignment #50 Proposal for Professional Services
Dear Mr. Marcil:
For your review, please find the proposal summary and man-hour documentation for the additional work associate with obtaining the Suwannee River Water Management District (SRWMD) Environmental Resource Permit (ERP) Exemption.
As discussed, SRWMD has identified expired/incomplete permits dating back to 2007 that has/have not been closed out and they are withholding the exemption until the issue(s) has/have been resolved. The Department has requested DRMP to pursue the proper closure of the existing permit. For your review, DRMP, Inc., has provided a proposal summary and man-hour documentation for the services task identified below:
Please review the attached Proposal Summary and Deliverables.
Sincerely, Paul Benvie, P.E.
Senior Project Manager

Suwannee River State Park – Water System Upgrades - Suwannee County, Florida FDEP Agreement #CN225 – Change Order #1 to Task Assignment #50 Proposal for Professional Services
Background and Purpose The purpose of this project is to replace and upgrade the potable water system at the park.
Subtask 5A of the original TA included obtaining an ERP Exemption for the work. SRWMD has identified two existing permits that need to be closed out prior to the issuance of the Exemption.
Below is a list of the tasks that need to be performed to achieve the closure of the existing permits:
SRWMD ERP-121-209989-1 (Cabin Area Improvements) SRWMD ERP-121-209989-3 (Lime Sink Bridge)
Subtask 8: SRWMD Existing Permit Closeout Assistance
Description: During our efforts to complete Task 5A of the original TA #50, obtaining an Exemption Verification, SRWMD has identified two existing permits that needs to be closed out prior to the issuance of the Exemption. The SRWMD permit numbers ERP-121-209989-1 and ERP-121-209989-3 are associated with improvements to the cabin area of the park and a bridge near the lime sink, respectively, both of which were outside the scope of the original TA #50. The Consultant will perform a site visit, research the existing permit, coordinate with SRWMD, and assist with the closeout of the existing permit, if possible. Revisions to the plans after 100% submittal are included in this Subtask.
Permitting fees/penalties to close out these permits is not expected. Should SRWMD require a fee to be paid, the Department will pay them directly or the consultant will pay them following a supplemental agreement.
Deliverable: The Consultant will electronically deliver a memo (.pdf) to the Department Project Manager outlining SRWMD disposition, requirements to close out the permit, and/or any other correspondence as evidence the permit has been closed out.
Performance Measure: Deliverables will be reviewed by the Department to confirm they are complete, accurate, and timely.
