CPH will prepare a Preliminary Vegetation & Land Use Map for use in project permitting. Generally, the mapping will follow Level Ill nomenclature of the Florida Land Use Cover and Forms Classification System (FLUCFCS). Record types of vegetation and ecological attributes observed. 2) Perform general reconnaissance of the area for the occurrence or potential occurrence of protected species (threatened, endangered, or special concern). The approximate location of all observed protected species shall be identified on a FLUCFCS map or aerial photograph.
