About this file
This file is a technical drawing and site plan document for the Folsom Dam Warehouse Bridge Crane Replacement project under Specifications No. 20-C0942, Amendment No. 0004. The document includes a Site Map and Contractor Use Areas Plan showing the Folsom Warehouse facility layout, located at the Central Valley Project's American River Division near Denver, Colorado. The drawing (reference 485-D-61367) designates contractor staging areas, access roads, existing multi-use pathways, reclamation property boundaries, and roadway configurations surrounding the warehouse facility on Folsom Lake.
The document contains standard electrical equipment support specifications and detailed technical drawings (reference 40-D-60001) for Type I electrical equipment supports with an estimated weight of 135 pounds. The specifications include fabrication requirements using ASTM A36 steel, electro-galvanized finishes per ASTM A385, combination channels from approved manufacturers (Globe Strut, Unistrut Corporation, or Cooper B-Line), bolted connections with five-hole or seven-hole connection plates, and welding per AWS D1.1 standards. Key contractor responsibilities noted include locating and protecting all utilities within work areas, maintaining warehouse access for government personnel via east-side doors, and coordinating space usage with government representatives. The design accommodates three-second gust basic wind speeds of 90 mph in accordance with ASCE 7-05 standards, and foundation design engineers must verify stability, concrete strength, reinforcement, and anchorage requirements.
