About this file
This document is a pre-bid site visit agenda and supporting materials for the Folsom Dam Warehouse Bridge Crane Replacement project under Bureau of Reclamation Solicitation #14OR2026R0017.
The site visit is scheduled for August 6, 2026, and includes visitor badge check-in, a sign-in sheet, government introduction, a Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) briefing, and the actual site tour. All questions must be submitted in writing to Stephanie Lindner (stephanie_lindner@ios.doi.gov) and will be answered in writing to become integral to the contract. Participants must remain with the group throughout the visit and return visitor badges to the Sheriff at Post One upon completion. The JHA, prepared by Thai Dao (Civil Engineer, Regional Construction Office), identifies specific hazards and mitigation measures for the site visit, including risks from driving to the warehouse (accidents), walking around the project site (slips, trips, falls, struck-by/pinch hazards, snake bites, heat illness), and accessing an overhead crane platform (slips and falls). Required safety PPE includes safety toe shoes, long pants, and hard hats. The document provides emergency contact procedures (911 and Sheriff at 916-537-7351) and identifies Mercy Hospital of Folsom in Folsom, California as the nearest medical facility. Driving directions to the site are included, with a total distance of approximately 6 miles from the starting point. A completed site visit sign-in sheet shows six attendees representing USBR, ESS/WIZ Constructors, and BCI Construction USA.
