About this file
This addendum memo provides clarification and revisions to construction documents for the restoration of the Dorchester Heights Monument located in Boston National Historical Park. The project involves masonry restoration, structural reinforcement, and rebuilding portions of the monument up to the top of the spire. The addendum includes one new demolition details drawing sheet showing existing condition photographs and revisions to multiple drawing sheets providing additional details on demolition scope, building sections, elevations, and stone pinning requirements. It clarifies but does not change the scope of work. The related federal contract opportunity is a competitive solicitation by the National Park Service seeking restoration of the Dorchester Heights Monument and hardscapes with an estimated value over $25,000.
