Strategic Planning

The GTSS West Recompete is currently in the acquisition planning phase of the DoD acquisition lifecycle. The requirement will be competed as an 8(a) set-aside. The resulting contract is structured with one 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods, for a total potential period of performance of five years. Contract award is planned for 4th Quarter FY28, with performance commencing on 1 November 2028. The acquisition is being initiated slightly ahead of the standard timeline to allow sufficient time for pre-solicitation activities, including an Industry Day that will require a 1–2 week trip across the West region.
