About this file
This document is a field structural repair record template to be used for damage assessments and repairs to Stryker vehicles. It requires documentation of hull damage locations, descriptions of repairs performed, welding equipment and parameters used, and materials utilized. Repairs covered under this record include small cracks, weld cover gouges up to 1/8 inch deep and 8 square inches, removal and replacement of individual tapping pads, footman loops, and specific axle and differential mounts. The related federal contract opportunity notice indicates the US Army intends to issue a sole source, 5-year requirements contract to General Dynamics Land Systems for Stryker vehicle retrofit, reset/refurbishment, and damage repair services, with a forecasted quote due date of 30 September 2018.
