Traffic Count Software as a Service (SaaS) - Maine Department of Transportation

This file contains detailed traffic volume data from a 2022 Annual Traffic Report for a monitoring station in Kittery, Maine located on Interstate 95 northbound at the New Hampshire state line (Station 133113054701). The spreadsheet presents hourly vehicle counts disaggregated by three traffic lanes over each day of the year, with data organized by day of week and hour of day to support traffic pattern analysis. The document includes volume split metrics, percentage distributions, and daily traffic totals, capturing approximately 2.1 to 2.4 million daily vehicles across the three lanes with notable variations by day of week and season. This data directly supports the Maine Department of Transportation's Traffic Engineering Division-Traffic Monitoring Section's need for comprehensive traffic count data management as outlined in the related RFP #202510141 for a Traffic Count Software as a Service (SaaS) platform.

The traffic volume data provided in this file represents the type of information that the proposed SaaS solution must be capable of processing, storing, and analyzing. The data encompasses the detailed counts collected from continuous count sites like this Kittery location, which is one of the 130+ Continuous Count Sites (CCSs) that the new software platform will manage. The successful vendor must be able to ingest, organize, and generate reports from similar high-volume, time-series traffic data to support federal reporting requirements including HPMS and TMAS submissions, making this dataset a critical reference for understanding the scale and complexity of data management required under the procurement.
