1. This agreement, entered into by TBD-SPONSORING UNIT/AGENCY and Contracting Company Name, prescribes specific actions to be taken by the contractor and 316 WG/IP, to ensure the protection of classified defense information at the contractor's on-base operating location. Responsibilities are delineated as follows:

Security oversight authority is promulgated by DoD 5220.22-R, Industrial Security Regulation, DoD 5220.22-M, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), AFPD 31-6, Industrial Security, AFI 31-601, Industrial Security Program Management, and all applicable supplements.

c. Contractor Security Supervision. The Contracting Company Name home office facility will designate in writing to 316 WG/IP the names of the primary and alternate security representatives at both their off-base cleared facility and on-base operating locations, who are responsible for security administration at their respective activities. The designated ISPM is responsible for providing oversight and is responsible for implementing and managing the Government activity security program per DoD 5200.1-R and AFI 31-401.
d. Standard Practice Procedures (SPP). The visitor group will use and comply with the AF activity’s unit security program OIs, procedures and/or requirements, per this agreement and other applicable DoD or AF directives. Should the contractor's personnel determine a need to develop an addendum/supplement to the home office facility SPP, a copy will be provided to 316 WG/IP. A copy of the home office facility SPP will be maintained by the on-base operating activity. Security procedures identified in the visitor group security agreement take precedence over the contractor's SPP. NOTE: An SPP is only required when the Facility Security Officer (FSO) and/or 316 WG/IP determines it to be necessary.
