1 Bldg. 1360 -- Is the tug government or contractor furnished? Contractor. All vehicles are contractor furnished.

2 Bldg. 1360 -- Who performs industrial hygiene surveys? The contractor.

3 Bldg. 1360 -- Is the contractor responsible for maintaining G-Suit equipment? Not as of now. However, it may be added via and amendment.

4 Bldg. 1360 -- How is the Government resurfacing the AGE Yard? The AGE Yard will be resurface with asphalt, as it currently is.

Bldg. 1360 -- Does the contractor deliver AGE for flying?

Typically, no, AGE is used to support training. Except for special surge situations. The 80th FTW has their own AGE shop to support flying mission and Transient Alert Section..

6 AGE Yard -- Is the shower unit in the AGE Yard government or contractor? Government. The Government owns and maintains the shower unit.

7 AGE Yard -- Is the water clean enough to go down the storm drain? Yes, but no storm drain near by.

8 AGE Yard -- Is wash rack reclaimed water? Yes.

9 AGE Yard -- Where is the hazardous accumulation point? Barrels are under the shower overhand, EPA folks pick it up.

11 AGE Shop -- What are the weights for? Load testing munitions trailers.

12 AGE Shop -- What are the trailers for? Trailers are for extremely heavy nuclear weapons.

13 AGE Shop -- Are e-tools housed in a single location? No, various locations.

14 AGE Shop -- Does the AGE shop maintain lead acid batteries? Yes, however very few.

15 Bldg. 1090 -- If a GITA breaks how is it dispatched? The schoolhouse contracts job control with discrepancy and details. Job control then contacts parties to complete detailed work. The contractor is not held liable for untimely maintenance.

16 Bldg. 1090 -- Are all the systems on the F-16 maintained? No, The Aircraft Utilization Requirement List (AURL) states what systems required to be maintained operational to meet the course training objectives.

17 GITA Shelter -- Are the two lifts GFE? Yes.

18 Bldg. 1054 -- Is the trailer (MHU-196) only for the B-1? No, it is used for the B-1, B-2, heavy explosives, etc.

19 Bldg. 1054 -- Is the contractor responsible for maintaining training aids in the classroom. If classroom training aids are placed on the list of assets (AETC Form 120) for maintenance by the contractor. AETC Form 120 lists all the assets the contractor will be required to maintain for each course.

20 In the south hanger bay of bldg 1360 a question was asked regarding a couple of large tugs.

To double check, is it correct that the contractor will be required to furnish large tugs?

Yes. They are contractor provided vehicles.

21 How solid is the workload data? It is solid. All the data comes out of IMDS. It is double checked and verified by the COR's office.

22 Is TC Max new? Yes. The contractor will have 90 days after contract start to implement TC Max.

23 Where are the U2 airframe trainers? There is not a U2 airframe in the Trainer Maintenance Contract.

24 Regarding the subcontracting plan, the Government is only asking for TEP to be used. How will the goals be measured given there are three Cost Reimbursable CLINs?

It is more work for the Government on administration, however doable. The Government will subtract the Cost Reimbursable CLIN amounts when measuring goals.

25 Is it the contractor's responsibility to take Hazardous materials away from the base? No, the contractor is only responsible for the initial accumulation point of hazardous Waste.

26 Is the contractor responsible for everything to do with the GITA shelter? Yes. From lights to the shelters sheet metal. The shelter is still under warranty. A tornado would be considered an Act of God.

27 Do the lifts in the GITA shelter go all the way up to the lights? Yes, the lift located in the GITA shelter can go as high as 80 Feet.

28 Only one of the buildings serves as the contractors work area for munitions? Yes.

29 Are contractor POVs allowed in the secured munitions area? No. There are contractor owned and operated vehicles that will have access.

30 Is the contractor allowed to bring outside internet sources to run payroll? Yes. The Government prefers landlines as it is difficult to obtain permission for other internet set-ups.

31 EOD robotics work. It was mentioned that the municipal airport is one location where some of that robotics work will be conducted. Is that correct?

Yes, some minimal robotics work will be conducted there.

32 Hanger 1360 has multiple work centers. EOD was mentioned. How does the EOD robotics workload there differ from the EOD maintenance work as the municipal airport?

It doesn't differ in the workload data that was provided. Both are included. However, the majority of the work will be accomplished at Hanger 1360 (roughly 90% of the work).

33 Why was the ground and flight risk clause removed? The clause was removed because maintenance is not being performed on flying aircraft.

34 How does the Government intend to accomplish the price reasonableness determination? There are many ways to conduct price analysis, each depending on the number and types of proposals received. There is comparison through adequate price competition, comparison to the government estimate, comparison to other similar contracts, etc. The Government will not be conducting a cost analysis unless required.
