About this file
This is a de-installation and installation checklist template for the L3 Implant Sciences QSB220 Explosive Trace Detection (ETD) system used by TSA at airport checkpoints. The checklist serves as a Contractor Deliverable Requirements List (CDRL) document that provides detailed procedures for contractors performing equipment deployment services under the Screening Equipment Deployment Services (SEDS) solicitation.
The checklist establishes comprehensive evaluation criteria across multiple operational phases: inventory verification (system components, power supply, hand wand, swabs, printer paper, filter, and software version); unit condition assessment (exterior and interior damage documentation); functionality testing (power-on verification, supervisor login, time accuracy, alarm functions, and printer operation); and cleaning protocols using Isopropyl Alcohol Wipes with specific cautions regarding hot desorber surfaces. The document requires contractors to document all procedures with photographs of the unit while operational, front, back, sides, serial number, barcode, power cord, hand wand, and final packaging. Packaging specifications mandate a 26L x 24W x 22H Triple Wall 80lb Edge Crushed Test Fiberboard box with foam insert and a 23"X21"X56" Black Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) bag secured with zip ties. The template includes signature blocks for subcontractor verification, contractor review, and federal employee witness confirmation, with all parties required to document completion on-site. This checklist is directly associated with RFP 70T04026R7672N005 for TSA Checkpoint Screening Equipment Deployment Services.
