About this file
This document is a Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision 52.204-24 addressing representations regarding telecommunications and video surveillance services or equipment. The provision implements sections of the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act, which prohibits federal agencies from procuring or using certain telecommunications equipment from specified entities. Offerors must disclose whether they will provide or use covered telecommunications equipment or services, with specific requirements for detailed reporting if they answer affirmatively.
The associated federal contract opportunity (Solicitation W519TC-25-Q-XRAY) is for Preventative Maintenance and Emergency Services for Crane Army Ammunition Activity, specifically targeting North Star Imaging, Inc. (NSI) as the sole source under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The solicitation requires NSI to submit a price matrix, completed provisions, and pricing information by 1:00 PM CST on 27MAY2025. The government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract with a time and materials contract line item, and will use price analysis to determine award based on price reasonableness and offeror responsibility.
