About this file

This is a bid price sheet for the Sykes Creek Phase II Muck Removal Project, a dredging and muck removal initiative in Florida. The project encompasses a base bid for dredging operations in Zones 3A-North and 3B-South involving 223,600 cubic yards of muck removal, along with four optional dredging zones that can be awarded at the Owner's discretion based on budget availability and project priorities. The base bid includes comprehensive work elements such as engineering design and permitting, dredged material management area (DMMA) construction and restoration, pre-construction surveys, muck removal dredging, dewatered material transport and disposal, water quality testing, environmental protection and monitoring, and post-dredge surveys and documentation. Optional Zone 1 (3A-South) includes 17,200 cubic yards, Option 2 (3B-North) includes 34,700 cubic yards, Option 3 (1B.2) includes 38,100 cubic yards, and Option 4 (Zone 2) includes 38,800 cubic yards. Bidders must provide all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, permits, fees, supervision, testing, mobilization, overhead, and incidentals necessary for project completion and must bid on all items to be considered for award.

The bid form requires that all unit costs and total costs be completed by contractors, with the contract to be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on the total bid amount including all optional dredging zones. All quantities are estimated and subject to variation, with actual quantities verified by the contractor prior to material and equipment ordering. Bidders must provide the number of days required to complete each optional dredge zone. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities, reject bids, delete portions of work items, and award any combination of optional dredge zones at its sole discretion. Contract price and time changes require prior written authorization through Change Orders. The bid form must be completed and returned as specified, with late bids rejected.
