Please provide the referenced existing conditions report so the lead-based paint quantities can be properly evaluated for pricing.

Please see addendum 1 for report from Southeast Lead Consultants.

2 3/3/2026 3/20/2026 If both egress’ are sealed temporary for project duration;

see PLAN AS101, how are contractors to access building?

Contractors are to set-up ICRA anterooms to allow access into the building. Temporary sealing is to prevent dust and debris from leaving the construction area and into the active medical center space.

3 3/3/2026 3/20/2026 As identified on PLAN AS101 ICRA PLAN PHASE I, it shows doors that are to be demo’d are to remain sealed temporary during project, Please advise when doors are to be demolished?

Contractors can set up temporary ICRA partitions on the other side to allow for demolition of doors.

4 3/3/2026 3/20/2026 May the contractors use exterior doors to access building interior and allow for demolition debris removal?

Yes, Door 120, approximately in the middle of the building, would be best suited for this.

At this time, there is no intent to adjust the magnitude of construction for this project. However, if such an intent is to occur, this information will be noted in an amendment prior to the due date of the proposals for this project.

7 3/17/2026 3/19/2026 Can the VA confirm the Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) classification that applies to all phases of construction?

ICRA states conditions for which classification is needed with prevention measures. Contractor to work with VA to downgrade from highest class as appropriate for the work that is being done. ICRA classifications are dynamic over the course of construction.

8 3/17/2026 3/19/2026 Can the VA clarify whether contractors are responsible for providing full containment barriers, temporary walls, and anterooms within the work areas?

Contractors are responsible for all materials needed to complete this project with all requirements.

11 3/17/2026 3/19/2026 Can the VA provide the complete hazardous materials survey referenced in the project documents (Terracon report)?

Please see addendum 1.

12 3/17/2026 3/19/2026 Can the VA confirm that all asbestos-containing materials (ACM) quantities shown are based on destructive testing?

Please see hazardous materials report in addendum 1.

13 3/17/2026 3/19/2026 Can the VA clarify procedures if additional ACM is discovered during demolition and whether this should be handled via unit pricing or change order?

Please see response to question #91.

14 3/17/2026 3/19/2026 Can the VA confirm whether asbestos floor tile and mastic removal is required in all areas receiving new flooring or only where specifically identified?

ACM must be removed from all areas before new flooring is installed.

15 3/17/2026 3/19/2026 Can the VA confirm whether wall base adhesives, floor leveling compounds, or additional flooring layers may contain ACM?

Please see addendum 1 for Hazardous Materials Report.

16 3/17/2026 3/19/2026 Can the VA clarify whether existing acoustic ceiling systems within renovation areas are to be fully removed and replaced or if only ceiling tiles should be removed while retaining existing suspension grid systems?
