About this file

This is a specification document for Section 01 31 00 - Coordination and Meetings, which establishes the procedural and administrative requirements for the 234 McKean Road Demolition project in Horsham Township, Pennsylvania. The section outlines the contractor's responsibilities for coordinating all construction activities, including scheduling, submittals, and work sequencing to ensure efficient installation of interdependent construction elements. Key requirements include providing field engineering services to establish elevations, lines, and levels using recognized survey practices; verifying setbacks, easements, and drawing dimensions; and constructing work based on established stakeout. A mandatory preconstruction meeting will be held at Kohler Park (1100 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA 19002) on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 11:00 AM, with required attendance from the owner, contractor's superintendent, major subcontractors, the engineer, and the resident project representative. The engineer will prepare and distribute meeting minutes within five working days to all participants.

Progress meetings will be scheduled throughout the project on an as-needed basis, with the resident project representative arranging meetings, preparing agendas, and presiding. The contractor's superintendent and major subcontractors must attend, with agenda items including review of work progress, field observations and decisions, submittal status, fabrication and delivery schedules, progress schedule maintenance, corrective measures, quality standards, and effects of proposed changes on coordination. Meeting minutes will be distributed within five working days to the owner, engineer, and all participants. This coordination framework applies to the demolition of an existing residential structure, detached garage, two sheds, removal of an asphalt driveway, capping of a domestic water well, abandonment of the sanitary service line, temporary restoration of a stream crossing damaged by flooding, and grading and permanent stabilization of all disturbed areas.
