About this opportunity

The State of South Carolina Procurement Services Division is soliciting a statewide term contract for Check Point security products and services through a fixed-price bid process with offers due October 20, 2026, and anticipated award on November 20, 2026. Offerors must be Advanced Level Partners or above of Check Point in good standing, authorized resellers or distributors of all in-scope offerings, and must submit a Letter of Authorization from the manufacturer—a mandatory qualification filter that restricts the competitive field to authorized channel partners.

The scope encompasses Check Point appliances and software bundles, standalone software subscriptions (term licenses), software maintenance and support, professional services including deployment and configuration, authorized training and courseware, and Check Point SaaS offerings. Excluded items are Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), mobile devices, VoIP endpoints, and third-party telecommunications services. The price catalog in Attachment A lists over 200 line items across AI security, DDoS protection, incident response, managed firewall services, managed endpoint protection, managed email security, vulnerability management, SASE solutions, penetration testing, and consulting services, with pricing ranging from nominal travel-expense items to over $600,000 for comprehensive managed services contracts.

Pricing must be submitted as a single percentage discount applied to Check Point's Suggested Retail Price list. Minimum discount thresholds are 40% for Check Point Appliance and Software Bundles and 20% for all other categories (standalone software, maintenance, professional services, courseware, and SaaS). Failure to meet these minimum discounts renders the bid non-responsive.

The initial contract term runs one year beginning November 20, 2026, with four additional one-year renewal options available for a potential five-year maximum period. Contractors must remit a 1.25% administrative services fee quarterly based on total sales and procure information security and privacy liability insurance with minimum limits of $5 million per occurrence and $10 million aggregate. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for September 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM via Microsoft Teams. Written questions are due September 14, 2026, by 5:00 PM. Award may be made to multiple responsive and responsible offerors.
