C‐17 Type III Hydrant Refueling System Ramp Expansion
Question 96: I have been reviewing the plans for the above reference project, C‐17 Type III Hydrant
Refueling System, and I was wondering it there are any cross‐sections for the gabion walls?
Answer: No additional design information is available
Question 97: Amendment 3, Paragraph 2.5.2.3. allows two pages for each item listed under bullets B through H. The information requested in Bullets D and E is quiet extensive and Offeror requests these sections allow a minimum of four pages each in order to elaborate on the requested information, including Organizational Charts and Matrixes.
Answer: The requirements in paragraph 2.5.2.3 remain unchanged at this time.
Question 98: Amendment 3, Paragraph 2.5.2.3. allows a narrative to accompany the construction schedule and is limited to 5 pages. Bullet A, under 2.5.2.3.4 Technical Approach Plan appears to be a duplicated request of a construction schedule narrative but is limited to 4 pages. Is it the intent to include a construction narrative in Sub‐Element 1 – Technical Approach Plan and also in Sub‐Element
2 – Construction Schedule?
Answer: The requirement under bullet A, paragraph 2.5.2.3 is not a duplicate request of a construction schedule. This bullet requires offerors to describe how the work will be executed from start to completion and to provide a sequence of activities which represent work through the entire project from mobilization to demobilization. This is a diferent requirement from the requirements regarding the construction schedule, which are in Section 00110 paragraph 2.5.2.3.1 and Section 00120 paragraph
2.2.4.2. Section 00110 paragraph 2.5.2.3 states: The construction schedule itself is not subject to page limits; however any narrative accompanying the construction schedule submission is limited to 5 pages, excluding tabs and indexes. What this sentence is saying is that if the offeror intends to provide a narrative along with the requirements in Section 00110 paragraph 2.5.2.3.1 and Section 00120 paragraph 2.2.4.2, then that narrative is limited to 5 pages.
Question 99: Sheet CG103 and CG104 show contour lines that are north of the fuel facility which appear to require an extensive amount of fill, however, it appears that the contour lines are not completed. We are assuming that these are in error, and should be disregarded. Please confirm.
Answer: See Amendment 0007
Question 100: Please clarify to the Offeror’s exactly how many amendments have been issued and we are to acknowledge. FBO posting on Sunday, February 25th indicates amendments 6 – 14 were posted. However, in downloading all the documents, it appears they are all part of Amendment 6 exclusively. Is this correct
Answer: A total of six amendments have been issued as of 02/26/2018. Documents posted on
02/25/2018 at 01:30 PM and labeled as Amendment 0004 thru 0013 are all attachments for
Amendment 0006. The document posted on 02/26/2018 at 10:39 AM is for Amendment 0003.
