165. Question: In regards to plans FS‐1 there are 3 items that do not have an Item number to them, can you please confirm that these items are not in the 11400 contracts. Two squares to the right of where it says trash bins. The square labelled beverages just below the item mention below the item to the left of number 12. Is the Government picking up the impact fees?
Answer: Referring to DG 415‐5 Appendix D, which defines kitchen and equipment: Loose items such as trash bins are not identified or defined in the tables. As not specifically designated in the tables, they fall to Class C‐ provided through supply channels and owner installed (not included in the construction contract). These bins are shown to make sure there was space, but they are not part of the construction contract.
The Beverage location is a cooler or similar dispensing place for cups. This too is not in the tables so default to Class C, not construction contract funds.
Item 28 ‐ the beverage counter is allowed by the GD 415‐5 Appendix; The extra beverage location was again shown to be a place holder.
As for permits, no utility reviews or permits fees are required. Cape Fear Utilities identified our sewer and water as private extensions. No building permits or fees are required as this is Federal property and federal funding.
