About this file
This document contains a project information form template and details of a federal design-build contract solicitation. The project information form template requests details of relevant past project experience, including contract information, owner and point of contact, project description, branch office involvement, and relevance to the current project.
The federal design-build contract solicitation is for removal and replacement of the West portion of an aircraft apron and sunshade shelters at Hill Air Force Base. The scope of work involves removing the existing 12-inch thick concrete pavement and replacing it with 15-inch thick concrete, along with a stabilized drainage layer and new subbase course material. The project will also dismantle and recycle existing sunshades and install new ones, and remove and relocate existing crew shacks while adding one additional crew shack. The awarded contractor will be responsible for the complete design and construction documents in accordance with the provided criteria and standards.
