About this file
This document contains details regarding a federal contract opportunity for temporary emergency power services. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh District will award four contracts for generator set installation, operation, and maintenance services to support the Federal Emergency Management Agency during disaster relief efforts. The contracts will be divided into four geographical quadrants covering the contiguous United States and its territories. Contractors may bid on any or all quadrants. The services required include assessing power needs, installing, fueling, operating, and maintaining generators ranging from 5KW to 3MW at critical facilities such as hospitals, water infrastructure, and shelters. Contractors must be able to deploy resources within 21-24 hours of a task order. Awards will be made using a best value tradeoff process evaluating technical and price proposals received by 30 days after a solicitation planned for March 5, 2018. The contract type will be firm fixed price with some reimbursable items, and have a base year and four option years not exceeding five years total.
