About this file
This opportunity notice seeks proposals for an Advanced Contract Initiative for Temporary Emergency Power across four geographical quadrants. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh District will award four contracts valued up to $75 million, $75 million, $75 million, and $110 million respectively to provide generator set installation, fueling, operation, maintenance and repair services in response to natural and man-made disasters. Contractors must be able to deploy full resources within 21-24 hours of a task order. Services support FEMA and include assessing power needs, installing generators from 5KW to 3MW, and operating units at critical facilities like hospitals, water infrastructure and shelters. A best value selection will evaluate technical and price proposals due 30 days after a March 5, 2018 anticipated solicitation date. Awards may consider factors beyond lowest price.
