II. INSTALLATION SPECIFIC INFORMATION

A. BASE

(1) INTRODUCTION

Robins Air Force Base is located in middle Georgia, 100 miles south of Atlanta and 16 miles south of Macon.

Robins AFB is the largest industrial complex in Georgia. The base covers more than 6,934 acres, including Georgia’s largest runway.

Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex - Maintenance & Repair of Aircraft, Commodities, Avionics, & Software:

- Manages depot-level maintenance production and manufacturing facilities and laboratories in the restoration of Air Force equipment and aircraft (F-15, C-5, C-130, C-17 and special operations forces) to serviceable condition

- Utilizes 4.9M sq ft in 150+ facilities; maintains $923.4M in capital equipment

Weapon System Life Cycle – Management Modernization & Sustainment Mgt of Aircraft, Support Equip, Electronic Warfare, Avionics and Special Programs:

- Responsible for cradle-to-grave management of assigned weapons systems

- Provides maintenance requirements identification; coordinates repair schedules with customer commands and funding for associated repairs, mods and spares

- 4,000+ Aircraft (27 Mission Design Series)

- $15B annual budget

78 ABW - Installation Support

- Scope & complexity of operations collectively equivalent to several prominent Georgia cities

- Responsible for protecting the installation & its resources/assets

- Maintains/operates a world-class airfield

- Excels in emergency response & management

- Deploys mission-ready Airmen and cares for their families

- Medical care & retirees

(2) HOURS OF OPERATION

Normal hours for fuels operations are identified below. Contractor must be capable of providing 24 hours x 7 days per week PWS coverage when required including for weather, natural disaster, exercise, or other contingency operations.

NOTE (2): Fuels Operations shall operate during normal or required extended hours of operation and on observed holidays unless authorized to close by the Wing Commander or designee. If closed, standby personnel shall be identified to MOC and Security Forces and be available to respond within 1 hr.

(3) WORKLOAD INFORMATION

Base workload/requirements are provided below. Quantities and durations are estimates only and subject to variation. Variation does not directly correspond to additional requirement or staffing without validation and/or increase in normal hours of operation by the Contracting Officer.

Robins will be adding a 12,000 gallon JP-8, above ground, double walled tank around Contract start. The tank will be outfitted with a filter separator, 180-200 GPM pump, offloading hose, fillstand and water draw off. No ATG is planned to be installed at this time.
