About this file
This document is an amendment to a solicitation for the design and construction of an electrical power plant at Camp Lemonnier in Djibouti. The Navy is seeking proposals to build a new power plant building that will house five new 4.5 megawatt diesel generators, with an option to add five additional generators. The amendment provides responses to seventy-nine pre-proposal inquiries seeking clarification on project details such as generator specifications, fuel requirements, building plans, and equipment specifications. It also extends the period of performance from 1348 to 1618 days to accommodate equipment manufacturing timelines. Proposers should consider the amendment details when preparing their responses due by the dates specified in the solicitation.
