Amen dment

Please consider extending the due date from the current date of Dec. 15th to January 6th. This extension would provide contractors the opportunity to receive maximum participation from the subcontractor community to better inform their pricing. The current timeline is extremely aggressive for the review of 45 separate documents (over

180 MB of data), coordination of subcontractor review and pricing, and submission of a complete technical and price proposal adequately responding to the RFP. This extension would also allow for better subcontractor/supplier participation by moving the due date out of the holiday season where many trade partners take time off for vacation.

In a government design-build project where the prime construction contractor holds the design-build contract, government clients are frequently not in a position to fill out PPQs for the contractor’s AE design-partner, since there is no direct contractual relationship between that government client and the AE firm. Expe rienc e

As a Government Services contractor with over 50 years' experience, we are confident in our ability to be a high quality, low risk partner on this Contract. As a proven partner for the DoD, we typically carry over 50% of projects awarded across our numerous MATOCs;

however, the single project requirement for Construction

Experience of $50M inhibits our ability to participate in this solicitation. Might the Government consider lowing this threshold to $45M for the one project, which would allow our experience to qualify as pertinent?

Bid per RFP.

38 We appreciated the consideration of the bid due date extension to December 22, 2020, but because of the complexity of this project we respectfully ask the bid due date to be extended to January 13, 2021.

Right now it is a very quick turn-around for such a complex project.
