#Question or CommentAnswerRESPONSE POSTED ON ECOMMERCE
1Pricing of EUHWaaS Deployable Computing

Reference: Attachment 1 - PWS, Section 3.2.6 EUHWaaS Deployable Computing, Page 16 EUHW Attachment L-1, EUHW Price Workbook Question: We interpret the utilization of CLIN 0003AA - Deployable Seat Uplift ("Unit of Issue" is "Monthly") in the following manner:

- The Government would order a quantity of any of CLINs 0001AA through 0001AL

- The Government would then order the same matching quantity of CLIN 0003AA

- The EUHW Contractor would bill the Government for a total of 36 monthly fees for both CLINs Please confirm that the above interpretation is correct. If it is correct, could the Government then explain how CLIN 0003AB - Legacy Deployable Seat Uplift is to be handled? We assume that the "legacy" EUHWaaS hardware has already been in service prior to the ordering of this CLIN. How many months will the Contractor be allowed for to bill the Government for this CLIN since the underlying seats would have less than 36 months remaining in their life cycle? Will the Contractor be allowed to bill the Government a total of 36 months for CLIN 0003AB? Please clarify. All services are billed on a month-to-month basis.

The period of service for CLIN 0001xx is independent of the period of service for CLIN 0003xx.

CLIN 0003AA Uplift will be ordered and associated to each CLIN 0001xx computer that needs to be deployed. It can only be billed for the time that CLIN 0003AA is on Task Order. When the devices return from being deployed, CLIN 0003AA is ended on the Task Order.

CLIN 0003AB will be ordered for each Legacy Seat that needs to be deployed as a single item. It can only be billed for the time that CLIN 0003AB is on Task Order.10/31/18

In accordance with the solicitation, end user hardware will be procured as a service (EUHWaaS) and as a supply. The Government is not loaning or leasing the devices, but rather the devices are provided as part of a service. The Government will not incur any penalties associated with the cancelation of an order for any EUHWaaS devices which have been on order for less than 36 months.
