About this file
This is a Scope of Work document for roofing services required by MELNAP Schools for the summer of 2027. The project encompasses comprehensive roofing work across multiple school facilities within the MELNAP consortium. The scope includes roof inspection, repair, replacement, and maintenance services for existing roofing systems. Specific deliverables involve assessment of current roof conditions, identification of repair versus replacement needs, and execution of all necessary roofing work to bring systems to acceptable operational standards. The project is scheduled for completion during the summer 2027 timeframe to minimize disruption to school operations during the academic year. Bidders are expected to provide detailed project timelines, resource allocation plans, and quality assurance procedures as part of their proposals.
The pricing structure requires bidders to submit comprehensive cost estimates covering all labor, materials, equipment, and contingency costs associated with the roofing work. Detailed breakdowns by facility, by type of work (repair versus replacement), and by material specification are expected to support transparent cost evaluation. The contract will be awarded to the qualified bidder offering the best value to MELNAP Schools, with consideration given to technical capability, past performance, and pricing competitiveness. The awarded contractor will be responsible for all aspects of project management, including scheduling coordination with school facilities, safety compliance, and final inspection and acceptance by the district. Any warranty requirements and post-completion maintenance obligations should be clearly specified in the contractor's proposal.
