About this file
This is an Affidavit of Compliance document related to Iran sanctions compliance requirements for state and local contract opportunities. The affidavit serves as a certification mechanism through which vendors and contractors attest to their compliance with Iran sanctions laws and regulations. The document establishes that the signing party confirms they are not engaged in any prohibited transactions, investments, or dealings with Iran as defined under applicable state and federal sanctions legislation. The affidavit functions as a mandatory compliance verification tool required as part of the bidding and contracting process, ensuring that only compliant vendors participate in state and local procurement activities. No specific products, services, quantities, response dates, or contract terms are detailed within this compliance document, as it serves purely as a verification instrument rather than a substantive project description.
This affidavit typically represents a prerequisite certification that must be completed and submitted alongside bid proposals or contract applications. Vendors and contractors are required to execute the affidavit under penalty of perjury, making false statements or misrepresentations a serious legal violation. The compliance requirement applies uniformly to all bidders and contractors without set-asides or exemptions, ensuring consistent sanctions adherence across the procurement process. Funding sources and contract pricing terms are not addressed in this compliance document, as it focuses exclusively on Iran sanctions verification and does not contain financial or performance specifications related to specific contract awards.
