Good aŌernoon Charles, ECT is requesƟng quotes to install a monitoring well at KoreƟzing Cleaners II which is in the FDEP Waste Cleanup Program and is located at 2261 Edgewood Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32209.
This scope of work includes installing the following monitoring well.
One shallow 1-inch diameter monitoring wells, 3 feet of 0.006-inch sloƩed well screen and 2-feet of riser. This is a replacement monitoring well for MW010 and this replacement well will be located adjacent to the original locaƟon.
The current monitoring well MW010 is filled with debris and a proper well abandonment will need to be completed which includes the removal of the well pad and vault.
Depth to water (DTW) at the site is typically 2-feet BLS. However, this monitoring well is to be installed in a perched aquifer zone. So, depending on the Ɵme of installaƟon the DTW could be at land surface or dry.
The well will be installed by hand augur or DTP and completed with an 8-inch diameter traffic rated, bolt down well vault, centered in a 2-foot by 2-foot, 4,000 psi concrete well pad. Given the possible DTW condiƟon the driller can select the installaƟon technique.
The monitoring well locaƟon is shown on the aƩached Figure 2.
All soil and development water generated are to be containerized in FDOT rate 55-gallon drums.
AddiƟonally, an aerial of the site with the approximate well locaƟons are also shown.
Give a shout if you have any quesƟons.
Best Regards, Gregory Sattler, P.E.

Re: Non-Hazardous Drum Disposal of PFOS/PFAS Impacted Materials
Mr. Sattler:
The price for the transportation and disposal (T&D) of 55-gallon drums of non-hazardous PFAS/PFOS impacted soil, mud, and water is listed below:
Impacted with Non-Hazardous PFAS/PFOS:
Description Rate Unit Qty Subtotal Profile Fee (Charged once per site) $ 350.00 Per Site 1 $ 350.00
T&D - Non-Haz PFOS/PFAS Impacted Soil $ 195.00 Per Drum 1 $ 195.00
T&D - Non-Haz PFOS/PFAS Impacted Mud/Water $ 195.00 Per Drum 1 $ 195.00
False Mobilization (drum not found upon arrival) $ 85.00 Per Drum 1 $ 85.00
All drum lids should be properly secured, and drums should be placed on level ground (i.e., not on a pallet, etc.). A single False Mobilization fee will apply if our driver is not able to locate a drum on site or if we are unable to access the property due to a locked gate, etc.
