About this file
This is a Confidentiality Statement Form required by the California Department of Technology (CDT) for RFP 26-014-280, issued October 2, 2026. The form must be completed and submitted by all bidders as part of their proposal. The confidentiality requirements apply to all project personnel, agents, and subcontractors assigned to any awarded contract. All information belonging to CDT or its affiliated agencies is classified as sensitive and confidential and cannot be disclosed to unauthorized persons or entities. Bidders must commit to maintaining confidentiality of all project-related information, including specifications, administrative requirements, terms and conditions, concepts, discussions, and electronic materials. Confidentiality obligations persist even after personnel leave the project and continue through the contract period and final payment.
Bidders warrant that their company will not enter into discussions or agreements with third parties regarding project materials without written confirmation from the State that such third parties have similar confidentiality agreements in place. All project materials must be promptly returned or destroyed upon instruction by the Procurement Officer, with written attestation of complete destruction required before final payment. All copies, derivatives, working files, and archival backups must be physically and electronically destroyed within five calendar days following either contract termination or final payment. Unauthorized disclosure of confidential information may result in civil and criminal penalties. Bidders must immediately notify the Procurement Officer of any unauthorized disclosures, inappropriate access, misuse, theft, or data loss.
