About this file

This document contains a Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause regarding representation of telecommunications equipment or services. It outlines prohibitions and required disclosures for covered telecommunications equipment or services offered as part of a federal contract. Specifically, it prohibits the head of an executive agency from procuring covered equipment or services as of August 2019, and from entering into contracts with entities that use such equipment or services as of August 2020. Covered telecommunications are defined, and the representation addresses whether an offeror will provide or use covered equipment or services. Required disclosures include identifying covered equipment and services offered, and factors relevant to determining permissible use.
