About this file
This document is a checklist for a Test Readiness Review (TRR) of a Cold Weather All-Terrain Vehicle (CATV) being developed under a federal contract. The TRR will assess whether the CATV test vehicles, personnel, facilities, and other resources are ready for formal government testing, and verify that all requirements have been met. The checklist covers items like vehicle configuration management, deliverables submission, verification testing results, safety assessments, logistics planning, operator training documentation, and hazard mitigation. Completion of the TRR indicates the CATV system has been deemed sufficiently mature and ready to proceed with formal testing by government stakeholders.
The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation for follow-on production of the CATV system under a potential seven-year requirements contract with the Department of the Army. The single-award contract will have firm fixed pricing and consist of production units, spare parts, contractor logistics support services.

1 PURPOSE
The TRR process for the Cold weather All Terrain Vehicle (CATV) Product Lead (PL) will assess the readiness of the CATV to enter the formal testing event. The Contractor Performed Pre-Test Readiness Review (Pre-TRR) and the TRR will assesses the status of planning for and capability to conduct a given test event, to include available resources and other requirements. This process allows key CATV leadership and stakeholders to assess whether CATV test vehicles, personnel, ranges, and test resources are ready to be committed to Government Vehicle Testing with safe and manageable risks. The process begins with a meeting with the Contractor and concludes with a formal Government TRR meeting and a recommendation which is provided to the CATV Product Lead to proceed (or not) into Government testing.
The Test Readiness Review (TRR) is a technical review designed to ensure that CATV is ready to proceed into formal test. The TRR assesses the test objectives, test methods and procedures, scope of tests, and safety and confirms that required test resources have been properly identified and coordinated to support planned tests. The TRR verifies the traceability of planned tests to program requirements and user needs. It determines the completeness of test procedures and their compliance with test plans and descriptions. The TRR also assesses the CATV for development maturity, cost/schedule effectiveness, and risk to determine readiness to proceed to formal testing.
