About this file
This document contains a pre-test readiness review (Pre-TRR) checklist and details of a related federal contract opportunity for a Cold Weather All-Terrain Vehicle (CATV).
The Pre-TRR checklist assesses the contractor's readiness to conduct formal vehicle testing, including verification of vehicle configuration, completion of required documentation, correction of failures from preliminary testing, certification of vehicles and materials, identification of required test support, acceptance of safety assessments, and confirmation that the delivery schedule is on track. It will be considered complete when all items are satisfactorily addressed and there are no unresolved issues.
The federal contract opportunity is a solicitation from the Department of the Army Materiel Command TACOM Life Cycle Management Command for a follow-on FAR-based production contract for the CATV. It seeks a single-award, firm-fixed-price requirements contract with a potential total term of seven years, consisting of production units, spare parts, and contractor logistics support.

This process allows key CATV leadership and stakeholders to assess whether CATV test vehicles, personnel, ranges, and test resources are ready to be committed to Government Vehicle Testing with safe and manageable risks. The process begins with a meeting with the Contractor and concludes with a formal Government TRR meeting and a recommendation which is provided to the CATV Product Lead to proceed (or not) into Government testing.
