About this file
This document provides guidance for entering Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) assessments into the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication (SP) 800-171 Assessment Database. It outlines the steps to access both the Protection and Information Exchange Environment (PIEE) and the Security Requirements Planning and Security Reporting System (SPRS) applications. Upon accessing SPRS, users can create a header for their Highest Level Owner (HLO) CAGE code if one does not already exist. They can then view assessment details at both the header and details level and add new assessments with associated details. The document also describes how to edit existing assessments to reflect current status.
The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation from the Department of the Air Force Global Strike Command for radio tower maintenance at multiple locations under solicitation number FA461324Q0001.
