About this file

This document is a procedural guide for vendor access to the Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) with NIST SP 800-171 capabilities, issued in September 2023 by the Naval Submarine Lease Center (NSLC) at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, NH.

The guide provides instructions for vendors to obtain access to SPRS through the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE). Two primary user roles are available: "SPRS Cyber Vendor User" for entering or editing NIST SP 800-171 cyber assessment results, and "Contractor/Vendor (Support Role)" for viewing company cyber information and monitoring data and scoring. Existing PIEE users can request additional roles through their account settings by selecting SPRS from the application list and specifying their Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code. New PIEE users must first complete a vendor registration process on the PIEE portal, select the "Vendor" user type, authenticate, and complete user profile and supervisor/agency information before requesting SPRS roles. For vendors seeking access to multiple CAGEs, the process must be repeated for each CAGE; however, access to one CAGE within a CAGE hierarchy provides access to all related entities as identified by the System for Award Management (SAM). All SPRS access requires activation by the Contractor Account Manager (CAM) associated with the vendor's CAGE. If the sole CAM for a CAGE is the one requesting access, special activation procedures apply through PIEE or the SPRS program office. The document includes detailed screenshots current as of September 14, 2023, and covers registration steps including justification, summary, and agreement components.
