About this file

This document is a specification for the renovation of the Albion Armory, a state and local contract opportunity for the State of Michigan. The project involves repairing or replacing defective work in the armory, including the installation of new manufactured plastic-laminate-clad casework and countertops. The project requires the submission of product data, shop drawings, and samples, and the work must be performed by a qualified fabricator. The document outlines the requirements for delivery, storage, handling, and installation of the materials, as well as the environmental conditions and field measurements needed.

The specification also includes requirements for common work results for the plumbing systems, including piping, hangers and supports, identification, and insulation. This includes the installation of general-duty valves, plumbing piping and equipment, and insulation materials such as calcium silicate, glass fiber, and mineral fiber. The document provides details on the approved manufacturers, materials, and installation methods for these plumbing components.
