About this file
This document is a detailed specification sheet for an air compressor system installation project for Franklin County, Ohio. The scope encompasses the supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, and training for a compressed air compressor system with a deadline for installation by August 17, 2026. The vendor is responsible for furnishing all labor, tools, rigging, and incidental materials required to set, assemble, level, anchor, and connect the compressor system at the County's designated location, including mechanical assembly, connection to the existing compressed air distribution header, and verification of all safety devices and controls. The project includes factory-authorized startup and commissioning with documentation submitted within five business days of completion, as well as operator and maintenance training conducted on-site by the vendor's factory-authorized technician for a minimum of two hours duration. A critical requirement stipulates that all components must be capable of passing through a 46-inch doorframe without structural modification, with any required disassembly for transport to be documented with reassembly instructions provided.
The County is responsible for providing electrical rough-in work (conduit, disconnect, and branch circuit wiring), compressed air distribution piping beyond the system outlet connection point, and a level, reinforced concrete or structural floor adequate for the unit's weight prior to the scheduled installation date. The vendor must provide certified weight data to the County at least ten business days in advance of delivery. The total project cost includes the system, installation, training, and warranty coverage with pricing to be specified by the vendor. The warranty package includes 24 months coverage for the compressor pump and 12 months parts and labor coverage for the system. Delivery is F.O.B. destination via lift-gate equipped truck, with the vendor responsible for offload and staging at the installation site. The vendor must coordinate delivery access with the County no less than five business days before the scheduled delivery date. All permits, licenses, and any required calibration certificates are the vendor's responsibility and cost.
