About this file
This document is an amendment to a solicitation for renovating elevators in Building 200, specifically detailing elevator cab finishes and lighting changes for passenger and service elevators. The amendment covers detailed specifications for elevator interiors, including changes to center panel materials (from EP-4 stainless steel to EP-3 fused nickel silver for passenger elevators), handrail specifications (HR-10 1.5" round stainless steel for passenger elevators and BR-10 3" x ¼" flat stainless steel for service elevators), and ceiling configurations. For passenger elevators (P-1 through P-5) and most service elevators (S-6, S-7), the specification mandates Forms & Surfaces 6-Panel stainless steel ceiling with satin finish, six downlights, and perimeter accent lighting. Service elevator S-8 will maintain its existing top of elevator car configuration with wall-mounted lights, which will be refurbished with new translucent panels and re-lamped to LED.
