About this file
This is an attachment to a bid question providing photographic documentation of existing hydro and renewable energy control equipment at the Eielson Visitor Center in Denali National Park and Preserve, Alaska. The document is part of Amendment 0005 to the solicitation for rehabilitation of the facility and references Drawing U101.
The attachment contains four photographs documenting equipment within the Utility Building. Photo 1 provides an overview of the utility building equipment layout, identifying a left-side equipment group and an upper-right enclosure, along with a red wall phone between the groups reportedly intended for communication with the turbine house. Photo 2 shows the interior of the upper-left equipment enclosure containing various electrical components including contactors, relays, wiring, and control equipment. Photo 3 documents the interior of the lower-left equipment enclosure labeled as field-voltage-control equipment, displaying voltage regulators and associated wiring. Photo 4 shows the upper-right enclosure clearly labeled "HYDRO METER," though the interior was not photographed. The document explicitly notes that these photographs are informational and do not identify every component or connection shown on Drawing U101. All existing equipment configurations and connections, including the FAA DC connection, must be field verified by the contractor.
