About this file
This document is Amendment 1 to Request for Proposal (RFP) 963801 issued by Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, operated by Battelle for the U.S. Department of Energy. The amendment, effective November 2, 2026, clarifies two key requirements for potential suppliers. First, Neolube 2 is now acceptable as a substitute for Neolube 1.1 in the original solicitation. Second, first articles are required for line items 15 and 17, with a quantity of 5 units required for each line item as a first article submission.
Offerors must acknowledge receipt and understanding of this amendment through one of three methods: by returning the signed original amendment with their proposal, or by submitting a separate letter, email, or facsimile that references the RFP number, amendment number, and confirms receipt and full consideration. Failure to acknowledge receipt of this amendment may result in rejection of the offer. The amendment was authorized by Chris Martin, Contract Specialist at Battelle Memorial Institute, Pacific Northwest Division. All other terms, conditions, and completion dates of the original RFP remain in full force and effect unless modified by this or previous amendments.
